Willy Ghazaryan was a contract soldier in a special unit when the four-day Artsakh war began in 2016. He was severely injured and suffered spinal cord injury. Later, during his military service, Willy had an accident and was paralyzed due to a crash. He uses a wheelchair now and has a first-degree disability.
Ghazaryan is married and has two children. He lives in his wife’s paternal home and has difficulty finding work. Willy Ghazaryan needs our support to take care of his children.
Thousands of injured soldiers became partially or fully disabled after the Artsakh wars, and they still have difficulties readjusting to civilian life. The majority of our disabled heroes have families with small children, and they need to support them.
One of the most common problems is that our homeland defenders with disabilities can’t find suitable jobs.
FRF will provide all the money from the 2022 fundraisers to the families of wounded and disabled soldiers.
