The story of Narek Darbinyan, who was seriously injured while serving in the army, is one of the best examples of how it is possible to overcome difficulties and start a new life through joint efforts and support.
Narek Darbinyan was a conscript when he received severe injuries in 2014. He could not walk or even sit. At the Zinvori Tun Rehabilitation Center, it took him months to recover. However, health problems prevented him from caring for his wife and two young children.
The Soldier’s House applied to the Family Rescue Fund for support as part of its social program. Narek and his family needed an apartment suitable for Narek’s new health conditions. The Foundation paid the rent and provided social assistance. This support allowed Narek to recover without worrying about his family and build plans for the future.
Today, Narek has two jobs and simultaneously studies at the Agrarian University. All proceeds from the FRF’s upcoming summer gala will be donated to help solve the social problems of soldiers wounded in the Artsakh war.
